I moved to Peppard with my husband and two daughters in 1987 and we love living here. The girls have long since flown the nest and we have three lovely grandchildren.
I had a career as a Social Worker and now look after my two grandsons two days a week while their mum is teaching. I enjoy being outdoors, have an interest in wildlife and foster stray and unwanted cats for Thames Valley Animal Welfare.
While at work I had to write long and sometimes tedious reports but can now enjoy writing for pleasure. I write poems and short stories, often based on observations of human behaviour – in other words I'll still the nosey person who became a Social Worker but I can do something else with my observations in retirement!
